Help the Global Lounge celebrate our European Students

City Global Lounge is holding a European themed week from 19 to 23 November and we need you to make it a success!

    During the week we looking to showcase the diverse European cultures we have here at NTU and the fantastic European study abroad, volunteering and placement opportunities. We want to collect testimonials and images from our students of their experiences in Europe.

    We’ll be hosting a “European-tapas” themed lunch on Thursday 22 November from 12 pm – 2 pm during our regular Global Community Lunch.

    On Friday 23 November we are looking for our European students or students who have studied, worked or volunteered aboad in Europe to get involved in a showcase of European cultures from 11 am – 2 pm at the City Global Lounge.

    Students are encouraged to put on an activity or an exhibit from their home country or the country they visited in Europe. This could be bringing in some souvenirs, sharing tasters from European cuisines, playing traditional games and much more. This can be for the whole time, or even just for an hour.

    The Global Lounge can help you with the costs involved.

    All the events during the week are free and open to all UG, PG and PhD students and staff, from the UK, Europe and further afield.
