My work
My concept is inspired by the amusement park I visited with my mother when I was a boy. When I was a child, I loved playing with dolls, so I was always with dolls wherever I went, whatever I did. I really liked to go the theme park. When I went there, big dolls danced with me and greeted me, so I felt it was a dreamy world. When I visited to the fantasy world, I danced and paraded with lovely dolls, fireworks exploded in the sky, and colourful attractions were moving. I wanted to express my fantastic concept in a special way, so I developed silhouettes, coordinated designs through patterns of clothes, and investigated colours and tones to match my concept through tutorials. I learned printing and laser cutting techniques to express the festive atmosphere of my fancy dolls parade and amusement park.

My time at NTU
I have improved and considered my designs through various projects at Nottingham Trent University. I learned a lot from tutors about the design and the details that I didn't think of. It has always been new and fun for me to grow the design development process through the sketchbook working so that I can accurately communicate and express my designs and mood, and to develop garments more structurally after discussions with tutors and technicians.
I was able to attempt and apply techniques related to various clothes that I could use to express my design. Especially after working on printing and laser-cutting techniques in my final major collection, I achieved a great sense of accomplishment in the process of gradually completing my design.
My future
After graduation, I want to work in the fashion industry. Based on what I learned during my university life, I want to grow infinitely based on the sense of achievement I get from working in the real industry and the skills I learn from the field.
