The event was held in the Chaucer Building at City Campus and featured a number of interesting sessions that all gave deeper insight to what can be expected from the course.
The day began with a welcome by Senior Members of Nottingham Law School including: Executive Dean Jenny Chapman, Deputy Dean Matthew Homewood, Head of NLS Postgraduate Portfolio Rachel Rowley, Associate Dean for Research Jonathan Doak, and Alex Kastrinou Principal Lecturer.

This was followed by a number of educational sessions including a Comparative UK/US Legal Research presentation, session about Legal Writing, Footnotes and OSCOLA Referencing followed by a Q&A, and a presentation by NLS Legal.
Over three days, students were also introduced to some of the sights in Nottingham — such as the newly refurbished Nottingham Castle, and the National Justice Museum — and had drinks at Ye Olde Trip to Jerusalem, which claims to be the oldest inn in England.
