Applications now open for the British Council Study UK Alumni Awards

The British Council Study UK Alumni Awards 2024 are now open for applications.

Study UK Alumni Awards 2023

The awards highlight alumni who use the experience of studying at a UK university to make an impact on their communities, industries, and countries. Winners also have the opportunity to raise their profile and build professional networks and business connections.

The awards are open to alumni living outside of the UK and have studied at a UK institution within the last 15 years (2008-2023).

There are four categories to choose from:

Science and Sustainability Award – Recognising alumni who have distinguished themselves through their career and achievements in the world of science and sustainability, and who can demonstrate the impact and scale of their achievements in their profession, and beyond.

Culture and Creativity Award – Recognising alumni who have carved a career for themselves in arts and culture. We are looking for individuals who can demonstrate their artistic ingenuity, influence and creativity.

Social Action Award – Recognising alumni who have made an exceptional contribution and commitment to creating positive social change and improving the lives of others.

Business and Innovation Award – Recognising alumni who are active in initiating and contributing to innovative or creative new ideas, solutions or business opportunities, that have the potential for growth.

The awards recognise the impact that applicants have had in their field, considering tangibility and scale of the impact of their work. Judges will also look for evidence of how a UK education has had an impact on the applicant's success. Applications will also be considered for their potential to influence and inspire others.

Applications are now open until 22 October 2023.
