"I got a fantastic opportunity in March this year. I was invited to take part in a contest organised by my current racing team BPC Motorsports where the prize was a free season racing in the Citroen C1 Endurance season. I have always been interested in motorsports and decided I would take this offer and enter. This was the first time I had ever done anything like this as you never think you can make it as a racing driver of all things. It's one of those fantasy jobs that you wish you could do but will never achieve.
"Ultimately I didn't win it, however I did not waste the day. I met my current driver manager Claire (The motorsports mentor) and we had a long chat. After this, we both decided it would be great to work together. Claire has a lot of experience in the motorsports world so I was overjoyed that she agreed to work with me, especially as I was at the very start of my racing career.
"This led to me racing the C1s with the team. One of which being the 24 hours of Silverstone. This was an amazing experience and the ability to share the track with and compete against some really big names such as the son of James Hunt.
"As for now my focus is on December when I am planning to race in the C1 Eurocup race, the 24 hours of Portimao. This will be my first international race and I am really looking forward to it.
