The special will be filmed at Confetti's Nottingham campus with a live studio audience composed entirely of Confetti students.

BBC Children in Need recently launched a brand new activation – Game to Give – to encourage gamers up and down the country to join forces and help raise money for the charity, all whilst competing to take part in the live BBC TV show, ‘Game On! For BBC Children in Need.’

Keen to support the incredible cause and advance ‘Do It For Real’ opportunities for Confetti students, Confetti has joined forces with BBC Studios Entertainment and Music to deliver the new Children In Need special at its state-of-the-art e-sports complex Confetti X. A whole host of the UK’s most popular gamers, content creators, influencers and celebrities will take on some of the nation’s favourite games, including EA SPORTS™’‘ F1® 23, Just Dance Now, HADO and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe – all to inspire gamers across the UK to unite to help make a difference.

Raising vital funds to improve the lives of disadvantaged children and young people around the UK, the epic two-hour show will air on BBC Three and BBC iPlayer at 7pm on Friday 10 November, one week ahead of the annual Children in Need telethon (Friday 17 November).

Alongside the show, BBC Children in Need will also be running The Pudsey Games in partnership with Connect Management, in a 5-hour TikTok livestream where viewers can see all the backstage action. The Pudsey Games will see some of the biggest content creators across the UK go head-to-head to claim the ultimate prize – The Golden Pudsey.

Confetti undergraduate students will provide the live studio audience, with front row seats to all of the action. Many of Confetti's Nottingham undergraduate students will also ‘Do It For Real’, supporting BBC and TikTok crews with the event production and live broadcast. Students will gain valuable industry insights into this innovative collaboration of traditional and new-age media with the support of leading industry experts.

Hosted by BBC Radio 1‘s Vick Hope and BBC gaming expert Steffan Powell, the pair will be joined by TV and radio presenter Lauren Layfield, as well as some of the UK’s most popular gamers, content creators, influencers and celebrities, including Slogo and Spencer FC.

Yung Filly, Nic Hamilton, Harry Pinero, the Quadrant team and Elz the Witch will race on the F1 23 Sim Rig while over in the HADO arena, Tillie Amartey, Ellie Simmonds and Nile Wilson will compete against Bayo Akinfenwa, Tilley Lockey and Sam Quek, in the BBC Children in Need HADO tournament. Social media sensations, The Famileigh, are lined up for an exclusive performance and globally renowned streamers Bateson87, Freyzplayz, Geeky Cassie, Koji, Leahviathan and Tubbo, will also stream all the action live from the studio.
