Start making music

It doesn't matter if you're an absolute beginner or an expert musician, looking to master an instrument, start a band or join a choir – we've got it all. With performance opportunities, national competitions and international tours, our Music Centre is the hub of NTU's music-making community.

And don't forget that Nottingham Trent Students' Union (NTSU) has creative societies you can get involved in!

Discover live music on campus

If experiencing live music is your scene, there's lots of public gigs, concerts and performances that take place on and around campus – both from professional musicians and student-led groups.

Pay what you decide for global roots and classical music at University Hall and support and celebrate our talented ensembles in performances from NTU Music. For touring events and collaborations with BBC Introducing East Midlands and Rough Trade, head to our live entertainment venue Metronome or check out what's happening in The Level at NTSU.

Check out our What's On for a full list of NTU Arts events.
