About collaborations and partnerships

CADQ provide a comprehensive range of services, including specialist support throughout partnership and course development, focused on key areas such as graduate outcomes and student experience.
Our expertise spans continuing professional development and workforce development partnerships, Higher National and Technical Qualifications and trans-national education.
We employ a lean, risk-based approach which can be adapted to a diverse range of partnerships and organisations. This enables us to offer a variety of undergraduate and postgraduate courses globally in many fields including health care, technology, sciences and policing.
Our collaboration with Nottinghamshire Hospitals Healthcare Trust advances nursing practice, improving patient experiences in NHS services, fostering social change, and enhancing social mobility in high-need areas.
Furthermore, partnerships such as ours with the British Small Animal Veterinary Association, enables practicing vets to specialise in critical areas like emergency care.
What we do
We work with the University’s Schools and external bodies to explore and evaluate partnership opportunities and develop high-quality, well-governed partnerships which deliver on the aspirations of all stakeholders. We are also responsible for ongoing relationship management with partners and Schools.
We specialise in undertaking internal projects that require collaboration across the Centre of Academic Development and Quality, University and beyond. For example, we were instrumental in operationalising the Midlands Credit Compass, a credit mobility framework that facilitates student mobility between Midlands Enterprise Universities.
We take a risk-based approach to managing quality. Our processes are designed to be flexible, to meet the needs of a wide range of organisations and qualifications. We work with our partners to oversee and enhance the quality and standards enabling them to provide a high-quality academic experience.
We manage the appointment, development and support of Collaborative Academic Leads (CALs) who are our relationship managers for partners.
We provide expertise in the design, approval, implementation and enhancement of Higher National Qualifications and Higher Technical Qualifications, which are delivered from NTU’s Mansfield Higher Education Hub.
We actively promote and support the implementation and evaluation of a set of unique requirements for courses delivered from the Mansfield HE Hub, which have been designed to meet the needs of students studying technical education courses.
NTIC is an International Pathways College that prepares students for transition to study at NTU under a long standing strategic partnership. We provide robust oversight of the academic currency of the provision, course alignment and learning and teaching opportunities. This is achieved via NTU’s Joint Academic Advisory Board (JAAB) and School Academic Link Tutors (ALT). Also working closely with NTU Global as the partnership manager, we ensure NTIC Progression Route management is fully considered and embedded in University processes and decision making.
