Graduate Project Analyst

We are looking for a Graduate Project Analyst to help undertake an evaluation of the business support activity we offer to local authorities and small and medium sized enterprise (SMEs).

Department: Partnerships, Local Engagement and Commercial Services (PLECS)
Location: City Campus
Salary: £23,500 p.a.

At NTU we manage a broad programme of economic development activity providing the most comprehensive package of business support available locally. We offer assistance to small and medium sized enterprise (SMEs) as well as working with local authorities on a range of partnership activity. This helps us to deliver the University’s strategic goal of enhancing the vitality of the region’s economy.

We are now looking for someone to join us to help undertake an evaluation of this activity so the University can fully understand what works and how our role remains relevant, meaningful, and continues to contribute to the improvement of the economy in which we operate.

The post holder will join a committed and dynamic team that helps to engage with local SMEs and other partners in our role as an anchor institution for the city.

This role is part of NTU’s Graduate Development Programme, offering you an extensive range of development opportunities. The programme is personalised and tailored to your skill set to help you:

  • improve your workplace skills
  • advance your leadership skills
  • build your confidence
  • provide you with employment experience.

Please refer to the job description and person specification when completing your application to demonstrate how you meet the requirements for the role.

Applications from job seekers who require Tier 2 sponsorship to work in the UK are welcome and will be considered alongside all other applications. However, non-European Economic Area (EEA) candidates may not be appointed to a post if a suitably qualified, experienced and skilled EEA candidate is available to take up the post as the University is unlikely, in these circumstances, to satisfy the Resident Labour Market Test.

UK Visas and Immigration, part of the Home Office, requires employers to complete this test to show that no suitably qualified EEA or EU worker can fill the post.

For further information please visit the UK Visas and Immigration website.

Don’t forget, you can get support from the NTU Employability Team for all stages of the recruitment process. Visit their website or email employability@ntu.ac.uk for more information.

Please email our team if you have any general queries in relation to the Graduate Development Programme or the requirements.
