Applicants must be current NTU Undergraduate students in their final year or have graduated from their NTU Undergraduate degree within the last two years (2019 summer graduation).

The School of Social Sciences is a large, dynamic and diverse School made up of four Departments (Social and Political Sciences, Criminology and Criminal Justice, Psychology, and Social Work, Care and Community), and two Institutes (the Institute for Education, and the Institute for Health and Allied Health Professions). The School is home to over 6,500 students and approximately 600 staff. With a diverse and growing range of courses within several academic disciplines, we offer a challenging and varied working environment across our University campuses with courses currently delivered in City, Clifton and Mansfield.

This is an exciting and unique opportunity for a proactive and passionate individual to join our team. You will be responsible for undertaking key School Administration activity in support of the student journey. You’ll be part of a forward-thinking experienced team keen to hear your thoughts and turn your ideas into a reality.

Typically balancing the requirements of students, the School, the University and our external partners, you will be working collaboratively with a wide range of teams across the University. You will be required to engage, build and maintain strong internal and external relationships.

There will also be opportunities to work on projects aligned to the strategic vision of our School and in support of the University’s strategic ambition to create the University of the Future.

Experience of working with a range of people would be an advantage but is not essential. If you are keen, organised, a strong communicator, good at detail and a team player – we want to hear from you!
