This course is suitable for creatives who are beginners to digital asset creation or those who have little knowledge of Blender and would like to explore basic techniques for their designs.

Blender 3D is a powerful free open-source 3D creation software, which allows for 3D asset creation, animation, and rendering.

It can be used in any field that requires a digital 3D experience and is easily transferable to many other software’s such as Unreal Engine, Unity, AR/VR, rendering, etc.

On this course you will learn the basics of using Blender 3D Creation Suite, which introduces modern digital asset creation techniques and can be utilised across creative industries such as animation, architecture, product design and fashion.

You will learn and explore various methods for 3D digital asset creation suitable for 2D and 3D rendering.

  • You’ll be part of a design community in our creative studio culture; one that promotes discussion and collaboration, and encourages experimentation and the constant swapping of ideas.
  • With a limited class size you'll have the one-to-one attention you need to ensure you leave with the skills to continue developing your designs at home or work.
  • Benefit from learning with an experienced tutor who has established links to the profession and significant experience working in varied practices.
  • On successful completion of the course, you will receive a digital certificate of attendance and a digital badge.

Here’s what our previous attendees said:

'I chose to do this short course to improve my skills at work, I’ve taken away the confidence in using the software from enjoying the practical tasks, thank you!'

'This Blender 3D course was right for me because I want to explore how to make 3D objects, which can develop further with character design. From doing this course I have discovered many processes and to make texture looks realistic. I most enjoyed the material part; it was fun to make colours and textures combine together!'
