The staff at Blenheim Halls are absolutely spectacular. Specifically Dean and Amanda as re absolutely incredible. They always make me feel at home when I ask absolutely anything about my room or my parcels. The cleaning staff are lovely and the reception staff are incredible. Highly recommend for anyone who wants to feel like they're at home.

Blenheim hall is good for students who want to live quietly while still enjoying university life. The downsides of it being atop two hills are easily resolved with the regular buses. All staff are lovely and always happy to help. Kitchen cleaning and taking out the bins makes this accommodation worth the cost, as it prevents flat arguments about kitchen mess or overflowing bins. The common room is often empty during the daytime, making it the perfect place to study/hang out with friends. And during nighttimes it’s often used for pre-drinks before going out. One other downside I can think of is one of the dryers broke and they haven’t fixed it. It’s been broken for months. However, they’re probably waiting until everybody moves out to make repairs.

The en-suite has been nice as it provided me with a safe and warm base welcoming me into Nottingham, the social room could have more but I’ve made great friends through there from freshers and more. Cleaning has been good no matter how bad they always make it tidy.

I think that Blenheim is one of the best ntu accommodations, especially for the price! the staff are absolutely brilliant and so quick to fix problems, we had an ongoing issue with our boiler being really loud and they tried everything they could until it was fixed. the kitchens are great and modern, the bedrooms could use a bit of an update but the mattresses are comfy and the storage is great, in the kitchens you get 2 cupboards each and a shelf each on the fridge and freezer. the hill can be a killer sometimes but its nice to have a quiet, yet very socialiable place to go to, its about a 12-15 min walk to the uni and a 15-20 walk back because of the hill, but I really don't think its a big enough reason to be put off coming here.
