Our successes are a product of our diverse body of students, dedicated academic and professional staff, and team of technical experts. Academic staff are embedded in industry through practice, consultancy and research and specialise in areas including global heritage and management, digital architecture, identity, memory and architecture, deployable structures and urban energy planning.
We’ve got extensive links with partners and our broad range of expertise enable us to develop and support our students at every level, through undergraduate and postgraduate taught and research study routes. Teaching is underpinned by visiting professionals and industry experts who enhance the course content with their insight into current practice and live projects applied to real challenges faced in architecture.
We’re based in our Grade II* listed Gothic Revival style Arkwright building, right in the heart of Nottingham. If you’re interested in visiting, studying, or working with us, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
