Our undergraduate Psychology courses cover all the core areas of Psychology stipulated by the British Psychological Society curriculum. You'll explore the human being; the workings of the brain; the processes and mechanisms of human thinking, feeling and behaviour; and how psychologists, psychological research and therapy can make a tangible and positive difference to people's lives and society.

We offer a wide range of optional modules and pathways meaning you can pursue your own interests and begin to shape your learning towards further study and / or a particular career.

You’ll mainly be studying in the Chaucer and Taylor buildings, at the centre of our vibrant City Campus. As well as a range of classrooms and lecture theatres, the facilities including a mock prison cell, banks of open-access PCs, social spaces for either quiet study or busy group work.

As a Psychology student you will benefit from our dedicated learning facilities, including purpose-built psychology teaching labs, state-of-the-art lecture theatres, and dedicated student study areas.
