My knowledge, perception and opinion on conservation has changed greatly since the start of my degree. My desirable career path changes weekly, and I am frequently changing my thoughts and values about the best approach to conservation.
More about Victoria
"I chose BSc Wildlife Conservation at NTU because I wanted to pursue my passion in conservation whilst getting the most well-rounded view of topics in the field."
"The thing I enjoy most about the course is that it offers such a wide array of modules, from behaviour to environmental law."
"All of the lecturers throughout the duration of my course have been fantastic and have offered me unrestricted support all of the time. The lecturers are passionate about their field and they often have plenty of experience to bring into the lectures when teaching us topics."
"The plentiful land of Brackenhurst campus is great for practical’s as well as just for walking around for breaks in between lectures. The majority of the accommodation is new and stylish. The library is smaller than other campuses, but this means that it is quiet, and it still hosts an unlimited supply of relevant books."
"NTU and Brackenhurst specifically, offer a wide range of societies and sports clubs etc. This is a real asset to NTU, and I would advise any student to get involved with as many societies as possible. Not only will you meet new people and have fun, but most people learn best when they are learning with others!"
"My knowledge, perception and opinion on conservation has changed greatly since the start of my degree. My desirable career path changes weekly, and I am frequently changing my thoughts and values about the best approach to conservation. Ultimately, the most valuable thing I have learnt since starting my course is that, conservation is not easy and there is no simple answer… but everyone can take a step in the right direction."
