My name is Bethany Aldous and I’m currently in my second year at NTU studying BA (Hons) Animation.
As part of this trip I travelled to Timisoara (one of Nottingham’s twin cities) and the host university arranged a bunch of interesting events for us to attend as part of the European Creative and SMART Cities Challenge.

It was my first trip abroad and I was able to experience it with a group of lovely and interesting people.
I would recommend studying abroad to my friends as its an opportunity to do something different and to bring back inspiration for other university projects.

The study abroad experience has helped with making me feel more confident about travelling, making new friends and developing new skills. It was also a chance to learn about another culture.

If I had the chance to I would definitely do it all over again. It was an experience of a lifetime! The experience with NTU exceeded my expectations and I’d definitely recommend it to any other NTU student.
