What made you choose to study Textile Design at NTU?
“I thought the course facilities were great, and there seemed to be plenty of opportunities to learn about all areas of Textile Design, with plenty of industry competitions.”

What did you enjoy most about your course?
“I really enjoyed the competitions in  final year - they were a great way to strengthen your portfolio and get industry experience. I loved the freedom to explore the area of textiles that you wanted, with no limitations.”

What has been the most valuable lesson you’ve learnt at NTU?
“I think one of the most valuable things I have learnt is how to produce work to a professional standard within fabric choices, presentation and portfolio work.”

How did you feel when you found out you had been selected for the ANN INC Graduate Programme in New York?
“I was so excited and in shock! I really didn’t think I would have been chosen but I'm so grateful for the opportunity. I can’t wait for the year ahead. I think the whole experience will be amazing, starting my first job and moving to New York. I’m most looking forward to the experiences within the job role and the new tasks I will be faced with.”

How did you find the course facilities?
“Excellent! Having your own studio space is really beneficial in your final year. Having an art shop on campus is extremely helpful - I was forever running out of things or quickly needing something.”

What did you like about living and studying in Nottingham?
“I really love the city, I soon felt at home here. I think it’s great how close the campus is to the centre.”

Why would you recommend studying Textile Design at NTU?
“I would strongly recommend the Textile Design course here because it gives you so many different learning opportunities - there really are no limitations! Also, the course provides you with great contacts and opportunities to work within industry.”
