More about Kitty

Why did you choose to study Fashion Design at NTU?
"I love art and design. I think that's what makes this world beautiful. I chose Fashion Design because it requires a lot of creativity as well as good technical skills. It is a very challenging course which I want to make amazing and interesting designs that can inspire as well as wow."

What do you you enjoy most about this course?
"I enjoy the everyday design process; from research, development, design to construction. It's incredible to see your designs from a flat drawing turn into real 3D garments. I love creative pattern cutting and I aim to make garments with interesting silhouettes with creative details."

How do you find studying at NTU?
"I love studying at NTU. The course is fantastic. The tutors are very helpful and kind, they always give me useful feedback and advice. Great facilities are provided to the students in order to support our work, such as large studios, sewing room, dye room, embroidery and knitting facilities, laser cutting and digital printing.

"The University also invites professionals to give lectures and workshops which is really helpful and inspiring. We also get experience from working with fashion companies, which is a great experience and we learn a lot from that."

What is your dream job?
"My dream job is to be a womenswear fashion design and run my own design label, as well as showcasing my collections at fashion weeks."
