Tell us about your project

My project is focusing on the visual development aspects of an animated film and environmental factors. I developed a script about a Forest Giant who is facing problems with a pollution monster in his Forest. He meets a young boy who helps him combat the monster and he also learns that humans need to take better care of the nature around them. I have developed my designs throughout the course to focus on what is current and appealing for a young audience.

What do you enjoy most about your course at NTU?

My course mates and tutors are great and we’ve had some brilliant guest speakers.

What made you choose to study at NTU?

I chose to study at NTU because it’s in a good location in the city centre and a lot of the reviews seemed very positive.

Did you attend an open event?

I went to an open event and it was really good to explore the campus and meet the tutors.

How do you find the course staff?

I found the course staff really lovely and very knowledgeable, my course leader is brilliant and easy to talk to.

What do you think about the facilities available to you?

I think the facilities are good, you can hire out equipment or ask a member of staff if there is something you need.

What do you like about living and studying in Nottingham?

It’s a very diverse city with lots going on, also Wollaton Park is a lovely place to visit with lots of wildlife around.

Would you recommend your course to someone thinking about studying it?

I would definitely recommend my course to someone thinking about studying it, it’s a very flexible course in terms of coming up with your own project.

How do you think the course and having a postgraduate qualification will help you progress your career?

Having a postgraduate qualification has given me the opportunity to build on my portfolio and gain a clearer understanding of what's required to work in an industry job.
