Stacie has recently graduated from our BA (Hons) Fashion Design course. Here she talks about her experience during her studies at NTU.
What made you choose to study at NTU?
“My brother studied Fashion Design at NTU so I knew a lot about the course beforehand. Seeing the standard of work produced by him and his friends inspired me, and made me want to work hard to reach their level of professionalism and creativeness.”
What did you enjoy the most about your course?
“My final year was my favourite because we got to write our own briefs and work independently which made me learn a lot!”
Tell us a little bit about your Graduate Fashion Week experience.
“Graduate Fashion Week was so exciting! It was so interesting to see other universities there and their students’ work. It also made me so proud to see my peers collections there too.”
Your collection was also featured at Singapore’s Graduate Fashion Week, how did you feel when you found out?
“I am so happy my work was featured at Singapore’s Graduate Fashion Week, it was really exciting news. I’ve seen a few pictures on Instagram which makes me so proud.”
Why would you recommend studying Fashion Design at NTU?

Where do you hope to be in five years’ time?
“I would like to have my own label with my brother.”
