More about Tanika
My name is Tanika Stanley and I’m currently in my third year studying BA (Hons) English at Nottingham Trent University.
I heard about the opportunity to travel to Europe as part of the Creative and SMART Cities Challenge via the Global Lounge’s Facebook profile. As part of this trip I travelled to Strasbourg and Karlsruhe (one of Nottingham’s twin cities).
I really enjoyed my experience because I got to explore new cities and make new friends. The host university made me feel welcome by offering complimentary drinks, student buddies and access to the university.
I would definitely recommend studying abroad to my friends as it’s a great opportunity to meet new people and explore new places. I’d like to study abroad again with NTU because I have made new friends, developed new skills and feel more confident.
Studying abroad is a fantastic opportunity to enrich your degree by experiencing other cultures and developing skills to add to your CV with any of our 300+ partner institutions.
