I would recommend studying abroad to my friends because it is an amazing opportunity to take advantage of whilst studying at NTU.
More about Fenniecia
My name is Fenniecia Smith and I’m currently in my first year studying BA (Hons) Accounting and Finance at NTU. I heard about the opportunity to travel to Europe as part of the Creative and SMART Cities Challenge through my lecturer who thought it would be a good opportunity for our group.
As part of this trip I travelled to Karlsruhe (one of Nottingham’s twin cities). I enjoyed my experience because it being my first time abroad and I was able to make new friends as well as learn about the German culture, the university and its modern-day technology. The university in Karlsruhe was very accommodating and they were very passionate about what they were talking about.
I would recommend studying abroad to my friends because it is an amazing opportunity to take advantage of whilst studying at NTU. I’ve also developed new skills, made new friends, learnt about other cultures and feel more confident as a result of the trip.
The university offers so many placements and I am very passionate about travelling, so I would like to take on another study abroad opportunity with NTU.
