What made you choose to study at NTU?  

“The main reason was that NTU is related gold for outstanding teaching and learning in the TEF, which shows the quality of the university.”

What were the key features that attracted you to your course?

“My chosen course has a high reputation and over 95% satisfaction rate from students. I was also drawn to the study environment at Nottingham Trent.”

What do you enjoy most about your course?

“Making new friends, interesting academic discussion and flexible independent learning.”

What do you think about the course staff – include lecturers, tutors, administrators and technical staff within this. How do they support your learning and University experience?

“They are friendly and knowledgeable. Lectures and tutors will have office hours so that I can ask questions when I don’t understand something. The teaching quality is excellent.”

What do you think about the facilities available to you?

“It is fantastic as all the materials and learning resources are available on the website NTU NOW.”

How will your course and/or placement enhance your employability for your chosen career? What skills have you gained?

“It provides me the opportunity to gain the right skills and experience. I also have the opportunity to work towards accountancy qualifications as the course is accredited.”

What opportunities have you had as a result of studying with NBS? (e.g. course rep, CERT mentor, volunteering) How have these activities contributed to your university experience?

“It offers many opportunities such as study abroad, paid work experience such as being a student mentor or a student ambassador and joining societies and sports clubs. I joined the Oriental society and go to the university gym. It enables me to meet with new people with same interest and going to the gym keeps me alive and feel engaged.”
