Why did you choose NTU in Mansfield and your course?

"I have wanted to be an Adult Nurse since the age of 12 after my mum passed away unexpectedly. Nurses embody all the positive values we associate with the NHS. NTU in Mansfield offered an apprenticeship route onto the Adult Nursing course which was particularly appealing for me as a mature learner having to leave full-time employment.

"The NHS Trust local to the Mansfield Campus was rated as Trust of the year in 2020, which provided me assurance that I would have well-networked placements."

"The facilities, teaching staff and placement networks have all been outstanding, offering an exceptional education in a historic and lively area of Nottinghamshire."

How would you rate the course facilities and why?

"The facilities for Health and Allied Professionals are complementary to the syllabus, providing myself and other students lifelike settings to learn and develop our skills."

What is your favourite thing about your course?

"The wide variety of experience brought by the staffing team and fellow students. I can always learn something from those around me and am actively encouraged to do so."

Did you find it easy to make friends at NTU in Mansfield?

"Yes the face to face seminars and clinical skills sessions help build relationships with those on your course, whilst the wide variety of social events at the university promote additional networking to ensure your uni experience is one to remember."

What do you think about the support available at NTU in Mansfield?

"Exceptional! I have been offered reliable and efficient advice and support from the various departments since enrolling at NTU, Mansfield. The University has been great at catering for my additional support needs and staff are always keen to help out with any additional problems where possible."
