If you’re worried about missing the 15 January deadline for submitting your UCAS application, don’t panic – at NTU, we accept applications for most courses until Saturday 30 June 2018. Whilst the University welcomes applications after the 15 January deadline, we will only be able to make offers if places are still available.
Of course, there’s still time to get your application submitted before 15 January.
Having trouble getting started? From picking the right course and uni for you, and our handy UCAS Tariff calculator, to tackling your personal statement – we’ve got plenty of advice and guidance to get you ready to submit your application.
If you miss the deadline, have used all five choices and find yourself without an offer, or if you choose to decline your offers or withdraw your choices, you will be eligible to apply through UCAS Extra. This means you don’t have to wait until Clearing to find a place.
Extra is the next step of the application cycle for applicants who have no offers from their five choices or have declined any offers received.
UCAS Extra opens on Sunday 25 February 2018 and runs up until Wednesday 4 July 2018. Log on to your UCAS Track and you’ll be notified if you’re eligible for an Extra choice. It’s also worth contacting us directly to discuss your application.
Any new applications made after Saturday 30 June 2018 will automatically be considered through Clearing.
Clearing is the process that helps students who haven’t secured a university place to find and apply for a course. Clearing for 2018 entry opens in early July and closes in September.
If you need help with your application give our Admissions team a call on +44 (0)115 848 4200 or email firstname.lastname@example.org with your query.
Visit the NTU forum on The Student Room to meet and talk to fellow applicants. If you have any questions about your application, life in Nottingham, or about NTU, our student rep Chris is on-hand to provide the answers.
