Grads4Nottm is back for 2021

Grads4Nottm will return for its 7th year this summer. The scheme offers a two-week work experience project, focusing on graduate retention in the city and giving local employers the opportunity to showcase their business to our talent.

Grads4Nottm is an NTU exclusive initiative, intended to partner our students and graduates with businesses within Nottingham and Nottinghamshire. Going virtual for the second time, the scheme represents an opportunity to showcase your business and access NTU students and recent graduates.

This year's event will take place online between Monday 14th  - Friday 25th June.

Our scheme is open to students from all academic disciplines and backgrounds, with a focus on enabling social mobility.

How the event will work

During the two-week period, our talent will work on challenges submitted by participating employers. All challenges are advertised anonymously, in order to remove any brand bias and to encourage students and graduates to apply based on the opportunity closest matched to their skillset.

Projects are normally completed in small groups, with in excess of 100 academic participants in 2020.

Should your challenge be accepted, you will be invited to a virtual employer Kick Off event on Monday 7th June 2021, where we will outline the finer details of the following two weeks.

On Monday 14th June 2021, you will then attend the Grads4Nottm Launch event. Here you will meet your students for the first time.

Finally, on Friday 25th June, we will invite all participants to take part in a celebration event, to present their work to a wider audience.

Submit your challenge now

We are pleased to now welcome challenge submissions for Grads4Nottm 2021.
