Eligibility changes to the Help to Grow: Management Course allowing more businesses to benefit

The Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) have made some recent updates to the eligibility criteria for the Help to Grow: Management Course.

On 14 June 2022, two eligibility updates were be applied to the Help to Grow: Management Course. The changes have been announced by BEIS as they aim to provide more flexibility for businesses interested in benefiting from the course. The changes will be:

  • a second participant from the same business can attend the Help to Grow: Management Course if their business has 10 or more employees.
  • SMEs who previously participated in the Small Business Leadership Programme (SBLP) can now also benefit from the Help to Grow: Management Course. A business that previously sent a participant on SBLP will be able to nominate up to two people to participate in the Help to Grow: Management Course, if they have 10+ employees, or one if they have 5-9 employees.

The Help to Grow: Management Course supports senior managers of small and medium-sized businesses to boost their business’s performance, resilience, and long-term growth. Nottingham Business School have successfully delivered the course to five cohorts and look forward to continuing with the delivery of the course with funding confirmed until 2025.
