CIM is the world’s leading professional marketing body and by recognising that our marketing programmes maps to the body’s recommended criteria, it ensures our students are best equipped to progress their knowledge and career.

Jonny Crawley, Learner Partnerships Manager at CIM, said:  “This award highlights the importance of providing students with opportunities to develop essential transferable capabilities through practice. It also helps students to recognise when and how they have gained these capabilities, which are highly sought after by today's employers, and encourages them to leverage the employability-enhancing opportunities offered by the MSc Marketing suite of programmes.

NTU can take pride in the MSc Marketing programmes’ excellence in employability, assuring both students and staff that its content and practical learning components effectively meet employer expectations of modern graduates.”

Dr. Sharon-Marie Gillooley, Programme Leader of Nottingham Business School’s MSc Marketing, MSc Marketing and Brand Management, and MSc Advertising and Marketing Communications courses, expressed her enthusiasm regarding the CIM award received by the programme.  “The award reaffirms our position as leaders in marketing education, but it signifies much more. Our commitment extends beyond theoretical knowledge; it’s about empowering our master’s graduates for real-world success in their future marketing careers. Our courses are designed with an employability focus to equip our students with the practical skills and strategic mindset needed to thrive in the dynamic marketing landscape.”

The award builds on NTU’s status as a CIM Accredited Degree Partner. Our partnership with the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) provides students with an Accredited Degree status. This means in addition to CIM membership, students are given opportunities to fast track their way to gaining additional professional CIM qualifications alongside their master’s degree.
