Fairtrade Fortnight is back and will take place 27 February – 12 March!

As part of our ongoing commitment to being a Fairtrade University, NTU will once again be hosting events to raise awareness of Fairtrade and the importance of paying producers and suppliers fairly for their goods.

Keep an eye on this page to see the announcement of events and opportunities throughout the fortnight.

We want to hear your thoughts about Fairtrade: take the Fairtrade survey by the 12 March for your chance to be entered into our Fairtrade prize draw!

Fairtrade Foundation

This Fairtrade Fortnight, join the Fairtrade Foundation in spreading a simple message: making the small switch to Fairtrade supports producers in protecting the future of some of our most-loved food and the planet.

Did you know coffee, bananas and chocolate could soon be much more difficult to find on our shelves?

Climate change is making crops like these harder and harder to grow. Combined with deeply unfair trade, communities growing these crops are being pushed to the brink.

But here’s the good news.

More of us choosing Fairtrade means extra income, power, and support for those communities.

By making the small switch to Fairtrade, we can all support producers in protecting the future of some of our most-loved food and the planet.
