You’ll be well prepared for the world of work, with placements and work-based opportunities through our extensive network of partner schools and institutions. We offer a number of routes into teaching, which lead to Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS).

What’s next after your Education and Teacher Training degree?

Our Education and Teacher Training courses are designed to prepare you for your future career - developing the knowledge and skills you’ll need as well as giving you hands-on experience.

Many graduates have gone into successful careers in teaching and non-teaching roles in an educational setting - with 100% of teacher training graduates able to take up teaching positions. There are also posts available in other public sector organisations such as local government, the NHS and the civil service.
