About this course
Become an agent of change for women in leadership and make a lasting impact in your career and organisation. Despite progress, women are still underrepresented in leadership roles, limiting their career potential and opportunities. This microcredential will equip you with the skills and confidence to lead with purpose and authenticity, addressing the challenges women face in leadership.
Work through engaging modules at your own pace, with three specified assessment hand in dates over the academic year.

On completion of this microcredential, you will:
- Explore inspiring stories of female leaders across various sectors and understand their contributions to business and society.
- Identify the barriers women face in leadership and learn strategies to overcome them.
- Develop leadership skills including resilience, self-awareness, and effective communication to enhance your leadership potential.
- Learn how to influence and inspire others, advocating for women’s leadership and empowering the next generation of female leaders.

You’ll receive 10 UK level 7 credits in completing this online microcredential. These credits are obtained once you’ve successfully completed your assessment.

Stack your choice of microcredentials and build towards a Postgraduate Certificate in leadership and management practice from Nottingham Business School.

This course is designed for women holding or aspiring to leadership positions in organisations, their community, or society more broadly.
It will be particularly valuable for women entering or applying for their leadership role, female entrepreneurs, female politicians, women working in male dominated industries, and women from minority backgrounds or marginalised groups.
To get the most out of this microcredential, learners just need some previous professional work experience and an active interest in achieving change and advocating for women in leadership.
Please note, this microcredential will be delivered in English, so having a solid grasp of the language will be essential to successfully completing this microcredential.
