Introduction:

Whilst there has been increasing visibility of successful female leaders in organisations, a turbulent economy, political instability, and global challenges are in danger of eroding gains made by women over recent years. Female directorships on FTSE100 and FTSE250 boards have increased however, there remains a lack of progress into executive roles. The development of a female leadership pipeline remains a critical challenge for organisations.

As a result of the UN Sustainable Development Goals, a call for greater focus on the triple bottom line of profit, people and planet and the advancement of purpose-driven leadership, there is an increasing need for leaders to be ‘agents of change’, ensuring organisations are focused on the greater good, rather than solely the ‘bottom line’.

Addressing the dual need to develop the female leadership pipeline and develop purpose-driven leaders, this course prepares female leaders to be successful agents of change and transformational, purpose-driven leaders.
