What motivated you to purse a short course at Nottingham Business School (NBS), part of Nottingham Trent University (NTU)?

"I was looking to continue learning whilst being able to maintain my current career, in an area that would benefit my progression and NTU had the perfect offering."

What is your current job title, and what are your primary responsibilities?

"Hotel General Manager, my daily responsibilities are for the profitability of the business, looking after health and safety, customer service and HR."

How has completing a short course at Nottingham Business School impacted your career progression and personal growth?

"For me this was more about personal growth in my current role. Having been in the role for sometime I felt the need to learn about different ways of thinking which may be broader and less industry specific."

Can you describe a key project or accomplishment in your current role that was influenced by what you learned in your NBS short course?

"I used certain areas of learning in an internal project to enhance our recruitment and onboarding process."

What aspects of the NBS short course did you find most valuable?

"I enjoyed elements of all courses I have done so far but found the Effective Change Management very relevant."
