Nursing

The opportunities for young professionals in the healthcare sector are huge. As a graduate, you could pursue a career as in roles such as:

• registered adult nurse
• community or district nurse
• practice nurse
• sister or charge nurse
• matron
• clinical nurse specialist
• advanced nurse practitioner
• consultant nurse
• lead nurse.

Paramedicine

After graduating from this undergraduate degree in Paramedic Science, you'll be eligible to apply for registration with the Health and Care Professions Council. Following the completion of your Newly Qualified Paramedic (NQP) programme in addition to the traditional roles of the Ambulance paramedic there are many other roles available to you as your experience grows.

These include roles such as:

• paramedic (advanced, specialist, critical care, emergency department, urgent care, prehospital or primary)
• hazardous area response teams (HART)
• Urban Search and Rescue (USAR)
• helicopter search and rescue
• wilderness or remote medical support
• telephone triage and 111 call advisors
• event medics
• primary care paramedic (GP or community).
