Accommodation for students under 18 years old
Students who will be under the age of 18 at the start of their course must secure their accommodation through NTU's Student Accommodation Services.
Security, safety, and general wellbeing are of the utmost importance to the University, and for this reason, the accommodation allocated to students under the age of 18 will be chosen to include safety provisions such as external CCTV cameras and proximity to 24/7 staff.
For students who live off campus the university must have confirmation of suitable living arrangements before enrolment on the course.

UK students
Students who normally reside in the UK and have guardian support will, wherever possible, be allocated to a university hall of residence near to their place of study.
Halls available:
- Gill Street North, City Campus
- New Hall, Clifton Campus
- Brackenhurst Halls, Brackenhurst Campus.
Each hall has live-in wardens who provide pastoral and welfare support to students. You'll also be provided with an Accommodation Student Support Officer who will check on your welfare, on a weekly basis. Students must engage with the officer and guardians will be asked to intervene if contact becomes an issue.
International students
If you are an international student under the age of 18 who doesn't have local support you'll be allocated to Kaplan Living accommodation or a similar private provider.
These residences specialise in the housing of students under the age of 18 and can offer additional pastoral support. The accommodation provider will send you information on the enhanced support available, and you should be prepared to engage with the residence staff on a daily basis for welfare checks.

Living off campus
We appreciate not all students want to live in halls, some may commute or may have the option to live with a friend, relative or guardian.
If you plan to live off campus, NTU's Student Accommodation Services will need to understand and have confirmation of your living arrangements before you are eligible to enrol. Please complete this form in advance.
