UPP halls at NTU reception staff always welcome in-person viewings during working hours. There may be some restrictions on which rooms you can see, though, as rooms will most likely be inhabited by current students. Please feel free to contact them to enquire about organising a viewing.

Please note the University holds back certain rooms across our portfolio to ensure we can offer a fully inclusive mix to all students wishing to book accommodation.
You can filter your search in the booking system across a range of facilities and amenities (i.e., en suites, gyms, parking) and locations (i.e., on and off campus).
Can I request an accessible room due to a medical condition or disability?
When you apply online in our accommodation booking system, you'll be asked a series of questions about any additional requirements. The Accommodation team will then be in touch with you or your nominated contact to discuss your accommodation options and make you a suitable offer. We would encourage you to be transparent about any requirements, so we can match you with the most suitable accommodation, subject to availability.

If you deferred your entry, you're still eligible for accommodation. If you didn't enrol for the previous year, the system should recognise you as a new first-year student and allow you to book as normal for the upcoming academic year.
If you deferred your entry later, the system may not recognise you as a first-year student, and you may experience issues logging in. Email accommodation@ntu.ac.uk if you have any problems.

You can only make one booking at any time, and the system will only allow you to see your active room booking. If you change your mind or want to see if other rooms are available, you'll have to cancel your room to be able to see other availability. We recommend that you think carefully before cancelling your booking, as this will release your booking, and we won't be able to reinstate it.
If you're a new student, the cancellation deadline is 21 days before the start of your contract for all 44-week, 51-week, and single-semester contracts.
If you're a returning student, you have a cooling-off period of 7 days after accepting the terms and conditions in which to cancel your booking. There is no 7-day cooling-off period for bookings made in the 21 days before the contract starts.
Another option is to request a room swap through the booking system if your booking is held at 'Tentative' or 'Reserved'. The swap process does not match students against an empty room — it requires matching with a student who is looking to change rooms. Changes are free before tenancy agreements start. If your tenancy agreement has started, a small administration fee of £30 will be charged.
