Run by students for students, Nottingham Trent Students' Union (NTSU) could be a huge and exciting part of your university experience.

As soon as you enrol at Nottingham Trent, you'll automatically become a member of NTSU.

University is about so much more than just your degree. Your union is here to help you make the best of your time at NTU, and there's so much to get involved in.

Find out more about your representatives, learn about our support services, and discover our incredible range of venues, societies, events and initiatives that will make your time at NTU memorable.

Get involved!

As well as having over 110 different societies to get involved with — plus the chance to set up your own — NTSU's entertainment programme offers you some fantastic opportunities to make friends and memories. From popular club nights and comedy evenings to trips around the UK, you'll be spoiled for choice. Visit the NTSU events page to see what's coming up.

We also give you lots of opportunities to develop your CV with some fantastic extracurricular activities. Trent Raising and Giving (RAG) is our popular fundraising group — giving you the chance to get involved in charity initiatives at home and abroad — while NTSU Volunteering offers personal development opportunities that can make a real difference to your local community.

Information, advice and representation

At university, it’s good to know someone has your back. Your Students' Union has a range of people from Academic Reps to Executive Officers to represent you on all aspects of your experience at the University, making sure that your voice is heard.

We know that university life comes with its own challenges, which is why we also have our own independent Information and Advice Service to support you. Whether you're looking for advice on money matters, housing or mental health, our trained advisors are on-hand to help.
