Everyone I have met so far was really lovely, kind, and inspirational. I can feel my lecturers’ and tutors’ support and feel safe to contact them anytime.
More about Klara

"I graduated from a vocational programme in Environmental Management in Denmark and wanted to carry on studying to finish my bachelor’s degree in the UK. I applied for Ecology and Conservation course at NTU after talking to a friend who attended an open day at Brackenhurst in 2019 and he was very excited about it. Luckily enough, I was offered a place in the 3rd year and I decided to take this opportunity."
"I enjoy all of my modules in their depth, relevance, and practicality. I know that they will provide me with a good range of subjects that I can elaborate on in my future studies and career."
"Everyone I have met so far was really lovely, kind, and inspirational. I can feel my lecturers’ and tutors’ support and feel safe to contact them anytime. Full transparency, I was stressing out before transferring to the third year because I imagined that I would need to catch up on a lot of learning. However, all lecturers were understanding and helpful which I am very grateful for."
"I was amazed by the beauty of the campus, combining historical buildings with modern architecture and new technologies. Although my experience has been, and continues to be influenced a lot by Covid-19 and I haven’t been able to enjoy all the facilities, I had a chance to join the Conservation Society’s wildlife walks around the estate. Also, I regularly used the library where everyone can book a spot to study safely."
I can only recommend this course, as it has been a great experience and I have enjoyed every module. What is also important to me is that I know there is support available if I need it, no matter if it is related to any of the modules or mental health and that I have felt safe in the NTU environment as a queer person."
"Apart from all the knowledge I gained from the modules, having a lot of online learning I have been practising my resilience as well as slowly learning to step out of my comfort zone and ask for help if I need it."
