Why did you decide to do postgraduate study?

“I wanted to study a postgraduate degree to give myself an advantage in the professional world and to expand my knowledge in the finance industry.”

What made you choose NTU? 

“I had studied at NTU for my undergrad course and every aspect of the university exceeded all of my expectations. So of course, I had to further my education at the University of the year.”

What do you enjoy most about your course at NTU? 

“It’s mentally tasking; being made to think outside the box to come up with solutions excites me.”

What do you think about the course staff? How do they support your learning and University experience?

“The lecturers are amazing. They are always ready and happy to assist me when I have doubts and questions. I know I can always go to them when I have a problem with understanding a concept from the course and come out with extensive solutions.”

What do you think about the facilities available to you?

“The university has great facilities that can easily be accessed. I really benefit from the 24hr loan laptop and the Bloomberg Terminal in the Business Lab is just phenomenal.”

Why would you recommend your course / NTU to someone looking to study in that area?

“If you like mentally challenging activities and coming up with solutions, I'd definitely recommend studying Economics at postgraduate level.”

What do you believe sets Nottingham Business School apart?

“The accreditations (EQUIS and AACSB) of the Business School and the practicality of how the modules are taught.”

What has been your greatest achievement at NTU so far? 

“I took part in the £10 IOD challenge. We raised over £200 for cancer research in a week, which was very fulfilling. The Thinkubator and the £10 IOD challenge showed me what it means to be a critical thinker. It gave me an idea of what it would be like to be a consultant, coming up with solutions to company problems.”
