More about Teebah
Why did you choose NTU and Nottingham Law School?
I selected NTU mainly because of the community and the vast resources that the university provides for the students.
What inspired you to study law?
I have always been interested in the law-making aspect of governments and as I looked for a major, I found that law was a subject that not only interested me but also included researching which I enjoy.
What do you enjoy about your course?
I love how the professors truly care that all students understand what is being taught and how they are always okay to re-explain topics out of class hours if the student reaches out in need of help.
What marks out of 10 would you give for course facilities and why?
I would honestly give the facilities provided for law students a 10/10 because the university ensures that we have access to all books and journals online as they have subscriptions for all students on almost all law resources. It's also worth noting that when I needed a resource that they did not have they made sure that I was able to have it in only two days.
How would you promote NTU to potential students in 10 words or fewer?
NTU has a community for every single personality.
What three words would you use to describe Nottingham?
Homey, lively, accepting.
Where would you recommend visiting in Nottingham?
I love nature and so I recommend a walk around the Arboretum.
If you have a (non-academic) problem. Who would you talk to? What would you do?
I have found my community and would normally talk to my friends. However in situations where I can't talk to them I reach out to the Wellbeing Team at the university for help as they are always available.
Finally, is there anything else you’d like to share?
Nottingham is a beautiful city and so I recommend that you make the most of it and don’t be afraid of reaching out to people since you will likely find friends that will stay with you for a lifetime.
