Staying safe on campus
The safety of our visitors, staff and students is our top priority. This event has been planned and will be conducted in line with the University’s COVID-19 measures. There are safety measures in place across all campuses and we have advised all staff to take a lateral flow test before coming to campus, to not travel or work if they display any symptoms or feel unwell, and to wear a mask in crowded spaces. You can help us by also following these guidelines:
- Please conduct a Lateral Flow Test before traveling to campus.
- Please wear a face mask in crowded spaces.
- Please do not travel to campus if you feel unwell or have any symptoms.
Ready to apply for accommodation?
Did you know that you can request a room at Brackenhurst online or with the help of one of our advisors at the event? If you have made NTU your firm (first) choice, you can join the waiting list online or by visiting the accommodation stand in the Main Hall Lawn Marquee (map ref. LM) if you would like help choosing.
We guarantee that you will be offered a room after Monday 10 August if you join the Brackenhurst accommodation waiting list. If you join the list during the Open House, you’ll receive £200 of campus credit to spend in NTU catering outlets, the print shop and Bonington Art Shop*.
If you are made an offer of a place at the Open House through Clearing, you will need to refer yourself to NTU via UCAS before we can confirm your room. However, you can still complete the form while you’re at the event by scanning the QR code in halls and filling out the short form. You must refer yourself within 48 hours in order to complete this process.
*Credit will be applied to your NTU Student Card in Term One if you are offered a room and after you have moved into your accommodation. The offer is available to those who join the waiting list on Saturday 31 July 2021 or Sunday 1 August 2021 only. You must not have an existing accommodation booking with NTU. This offer is valid for bookings in NTU Brackenhurst accommodation and cannot be used in conjunction with other offers.
