Postgraduate open event

Join our postgraduate open event on Wednesday 5 June 2024. Read on below for an overview of what to expect.

Our open event will answer your questions and give you real insight into postgraduate study at NTU. You can meet our staff and students and ask anything and everything you want to know.

Visit our information stands, take a tour and chat to academics one to one for an in depth look at your course. Whether you're thinking about postgraduate study or have already applied, this event is for you. Our expert staff will be able to answer your questions.

Staff will be available on campus throughout the event, so feel free to drop in between 4 and 6.30 pm.

Book your place to receive the confirmed timetable and registrations details in the week before the event.

What's available?

Subject and support stands

Talk to course academics and staff from our admissions, finance, employability, International office and student support services, one to one. Find out what you need to know

Tours

Take a tour of the campus, drop into the library and find out what's available outside of lectures. Some subject areas may also offer facility tours.

Talks

As well as being able to speak to tutors individually, some areas may also offer subject level talks. View the timetable below for times.

Visiting our City campus?

If you're coming to our City Campus open event, please enter by our Burton Street entrance.

If you're arriving by car, you can benefit from a discounted parking rate. Save 45% on standard car parking rates at Q-Park Talbot Street (Stanley Place, Nottingham NG1 5GG). The discount is available for any length of stay.

Follow these steps to access the discount:

  1. Press for a ticket upon entry. Do not use contactless payment on entry.
  2. Bring your ticket to the City Campus Information Hub in the Newton building and collect a voucher.
  3. Activate the discount at the pay station before you exit.
