Fees and funding for postgraduate students

Discover what you need to cover for postgraduate study, including the annual tuition fee, living costs, and the best ways to fund your study with our fees and funding guide.

Course fees

At NTU, tuition fees for Masters and other postgraduate courses for UK students range from around £4,650 a year for part-time study to over £29,000 for a Global Executive MBA, with the average full-time course costing around £9,700 per year.

The amount you’ll pay depends on your course, how long you’re studying, and how you choose to study. Tuition fees are displayed on each course page under ‘Fees and funding’ and show both a UK and International student fee. If you’re studying a PhD, postgraduate fees are kept in-line with UKRI rates. For some courses, you may have to pay extra study costs to cover facilities and equipment.

How do I pay my postgraduate fees?

You can pay tuition fees in full with a credit or debit card, or set up an instalment plan of three equal payments over the year to spread the cost. Course fees are paid through our online payment system. You’ll need your NTU ID from your confirmation email or letter.

Visit paying your tuition fees for further information. If you're an international student, visit our how to pay page for guidance on making secure international payments to the University.
