This year's theme — Lighting the Way for a Shared Future
Inter Faith Week is an annual celebration that provides an opportunity to promote awareness and understanding of different faiths and beliefs, and to strengthen relationships between people of all faiths and none.
This year’s theme, Lighting the Way for a Shared Future, pays tribute to the symbolism of light in numerous religions and cultures. It teaches us that even in tough times, communities can come together to help each other and to build understanding.
The NTU community is diverse and Inter Faith Week is an opportunity for us to share the different faiths, beliefs and experiences that make up university life. Learning and sharing our understanding helps us build stronger relationships and greater belonging for everyone.

Year-round recognition
Celebration and awareness days, weeks and months provide valuable opportunities to learn and reflect. However, our commitment to EDI extends beyond these dedicated dates.

Inter Faith Week Resources
The Inter Faith Week resources provide ideas and materials to support learning and engagement with different faiths, beliefs and communities. They include an Interfaith Action Starter Pack with practical ideas for young people to organise their own interfaith activities.
These resources provide a useful starting point for encouraging dialogue, learning and participation throughout the year, rather than limiting conversations about different faiths and beliefs to Inter Faith Week.
