Gaggan Sabherwal on BBC News

Gaggan told us: “I had a really wonderful time studying my second Masters at NTU. I did my MA in Television Journalism here and will always be grateful to all my teachers – especially Barnie Choudhury, a former BBC journalist – who taught me TV journalism and was a friend and mentor to me during my course and even after that.”

Gaggan continued: “NTU was truly my home away from home and I met some amazing people here and made some wonderful friends. Living in the UK and studying at NTU was one of the best experiences and decisions of my life. Thank you NTU for playing such a vital role in my life and in my journalistic career.”

In addition to her recent achievement, Gaggan also won a News Reporter of the Year award in 2017. She continues to be a successful multi-platform investigative journalist, reporter, digital media producer, current affairs, and documentary filmmaker.
