Female Founders Club
Join NTU Enterprise at Female Founders Club!
Our Female Founders Club offers an inclusive space for female business founders to come together for mutual support and knowledge exchange. We aim to help you, and your business get seen, heard and evolve in ways which are authentic to you.
Instigated in 2024, by NTU Enterprise and hosted at Dryden Enterprise Centre, the club’s events were initially funded by a year-long regional partnership grant from NatWest.
The Rose Review of Female Entrepreneurship (2019) explored the barriers faced by female entrepreneurs, highlighted that women are less likely than men to know other entrepreneurs or to have access to sponsors, mentors or professional support networks.
Female Founders Club is a network that offers female entrepreneurs the skills, knowledge, and connections to establish their true authentic selves in business, enabling them to launch and or grow a successful enterprise.
Between February 2024 and February 2025, the Female Founders Club delivered monthly sessions with a practical and relevant focus, taking a holistic approach to supporting members. The programme was designed to provide tangible tools and insights that the founders could immediately apply to their businesses, alongside a powerful network that could be utilised beyond the monthly sessions.
In that year, 192 individuals were supported, 17 new businesses were launched, 20 new jobs were created, and 421 interventions occurred (i.e., workshop, event or 1:1).

Female Founders Club (FFC) has provided a regular space away from the day-to-day activities of running a business, to give me the chance to step back, reflect and think strategically about how to move my business forward […] the combination of a long-term network and community, alongside business development workshops is something that I haven’t found elsewhere
