Returners Cancellation Policy
Please be aware that by making an accommodation booking and accepting your licence agreement, you’re entering into a legally binding agreement. Entering into any legally binding agreement shouldn’t be taken lightly and it’s important that you fully understand the implications of accepting an agreement with us:
Cancelling your agreement
7 Day Cooling Off Period
We understand that circumstances can change, and you may need to cancel your booking with us. If you book before the 1st of August, we will permit you to cancel your agreement if you cancel in writing to us within 7 days of completing your booking. Your booking is complete once you have paid your damage deposit and signed your licence agreement.
To do this please write to us at email@example.com. If you do this within the specified time frame, we will cancel your booking and refund any damages deposit and advance rent to you.
If you book on or after the 1st of August or the 7-day cooling off period has expired, you will be responsible for paying the fees due in relation to the licence unless a suitable replacement tenant is found. If you collect your key, this constitutes as moving in and the above cancellation also becomes void.
If a suitable replacement student is provided to us with our agreement, your liability for the agreement will cease on the date of the commencement of the new tenant’s licence start date, once the replacement tenant has signed their licence, paid their damage deposit and collected their key. If your tenancy has commenced, you will be charged £30 for a variation of the agreement. Your room should be left clean at the time of departing, if it isn’t you could be charged a cleaning fee.
