Entry requirements

Please note that these entry requirements are guidelines only. If you have questions or if your qualification is not listed, please contact our specialist African student admissions team: africa@ntu.ac.uk.
If you’ve studied an international qualification please refer to the relevant country page for the entry requirements. For example if you studied the American High School Diploma in Iran you need to check on the USA country page.
Grade: 14/20 to be considered for direct entry.
You could study Bachelor degree courses.
Grades required:
14/20 = CCD
15/20 = BCC
16/20 = BBB
17/20 = ABB
18/20 = AAB
You could study Bachelor degree courses.
Grades required :
14/20 = CCD
15/20 = BCC
16/20 = BBB
17/20 = ABB
18/20 = AAB
You could study Bachelor degree courses.
Grade Required:
1st Class =18/20 (from a State University) or, 17/20 (from a Private University)
2.1 = 13/20 or 65% (from a State University) or, 14/20 or 70% (from a Private University)
2.2 = 11/20 or 55% (from a State University) or, 12/20 or 60% (from a Private University)
You coukd study Postgraduate courses.
We offer pre-sessional English (PEAP) courses which – if successfully completed – lead directly to your academic course. Depending on your IELTS score you can study English from 6 to 20 weeks.
Scholarships
Sub-Saharan Africa High Achievers Award
We are pleased to offer up to £3,000 fee reduction to all high achieving Sub-Saharan African students. To be eligible you must:
- Achieve a 1st class degree from a recognised university in your Home nation.
- Be a resident and national of a Sub-Saharan African county.
The Sub-Saharan Africa High Achievers Award is now closed for applications. The final deadline was 1 March 2023.

LLM Sub-Saharan Africa Scholarship
Nottingham Law School (NLS) is pleased to offer one competitive scholarship up to a value of half your tuition fee.
We welcome applications from students from Nigeria who are holding an offer to study on a NLS full-time LLM Masters programme (not including LPC/BTC).
The scholarship will be awarded to the candidate who most closely meets the criteria for the award.
