The Global Summer School isn’t just about learning something new. It’s an opportunity to connect with fellow students, explore Nottingham, and immerse yourself in UK culture.

Your course includes a vibrant social programme designed to enhance your summer school experience.

Global Lounge

Join us in NTU’s Global Lounge, one of the cosiest spots for English Language Cafés, game nights, and relaxing between classes. This will be your hub throughout the Summer School.

Global Summer School Party

Dance the night away and have a blast with your fellow Global Summer School students and buddies at our exclusive nightclub in the NTSU building.

Bowling fiesta

Go for a bowling adventure with your fellow students and make new memories with every strike!

Trip to a UK city

Discover the renowned university city of Oxford (for Block One students) and/or the medieval charm of York (for Block Two students).

Pitcher & Piano

Connect and socialise with your fellow students in this unique bar set within a beautifully converted church.

NTU Sings

Love to sing? Join award-winning British artist and NTU Voices leader Freddie Kofi to bring songs to life and have some fun.

Your accommodation

Summer School students will stay in our Byron accommodation in the heart of our City Campus. You’ll get your own ensuite room and share living spaces and kitchen facilities with other Summer School students.

Your bedding and towels are provided and you’ll get a set of crockery. Each flat kitchen will have a set of cooking equipment for you to make your own meals. For your peace of mind our accommodation has 24-hour security.

Accommodation costs £484 for two weeks and £968 for four weeks. We’ll send you information on how to book your accommodation when you apply for your Summer School course.

Global Summer School 2024

My favourite part of the Global Summer School was the people I met here. They are the most amazing people I have ever met, and I enjoyed learning about their cultures. I will remember them forever.
