Welcome to NTU

Hello, we’re NTU’s Team Africa (Chukwuka, Anna, Kotana and Richie) and we are your NTU Representatives! We’re delighted you’re thinking about studying here. We regularly visit the region and love meeting new students and families personally to give advice and guidance.

Scholarships

Sub-Saharan Africa High Achievers Award

We are pleased to offer up to £3,000 fee reduction to all high achieving Sub-Saharan African students. To be eligible you must:

  • Achieve a 1st class degree from a recognised university in your Home nation.
  • Be a resident and national of a Sub-Saharan African county.

The Sub-Saharan Africa High Achievers Award is now closed for applications. The final deadline was 1 March 2023.

LLM Sub-Saharan Africa Scholarship

Nottingham Law School (NLS) is pleased to offer one competitive scholarship up to a value of half your tuition fee.

We welcome applications from students from Nigeria who are holding an offer to study on a NLS full-time LLM Masters programme (not including LPC/BTC).

The scholarship will be awarded to the candidate who most closely meets the criteria for the award.

English language requirements

We accept many different tests and qualifications, including qualifications from Liberia, such as the West African Examinations Council Senior School Certificate (WASSCE) with a grade C or 6. Please provide a scratch card as part of your application. You can find full details of alternative English qualifications we accept here.

Students who do not meet the English language requirements may be required to take a pre-sessional English language (PEAP) course.
